Search Tips

1. Enter Product or Farm name into the search box. - If you just want to search for a specific town then type in the location name and hit GO. (any combination of product, farm, or town will also yield search results)

2. If you are looking for something specific such as a farmers' market or a restaurant then do so by choosing either from the pull down menu labelled "Anywhere". You can also search for just producers in this menu as well.

3. Select the distance you are willing to travel (5mi to 250mi). This will give you a radial search of however many miles from the zip code you enter (Hartford is the default zip code). Now hit GO to see the search results.

September 14, 2026 - CT NOFA’s Taste! Organic Connecticut at Topmost Herb Farm in Coventry from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Taste! Organic Connecticut 2026 -

Celebrating local organic produce, products and practices with a Farmers’ Market, sustainable crafts, live music, kids’ activities and workshops.

Learn the basic skills for many farm-related endeavors such as cheesemaking, soapmaking, raising small farm animals, vermicomposting, vegetable fermentation (think sauerkraut), growing vegetables, saving seed and much more.

Workshops will be led by those who have enjoyed these pursuits and are happy to share their experiences. Mark Shadle of It’s Only Natural Restaurant in Middletown will provide educational cooking demonstrations throughout the day using local organic produce. All for $5, including parking.
