We serve meals in our retail cafe that use ingredients from local and regional farms. We have our own organic culinary healing garden.
The hospital is a non profit organization serving 8 towns in the NW region of Connecticut. The hospital cafe has become a "destination" eatery patronized by residents of New Milford. The cafe is open to the public from 7 am to 6:30 pm.
Plow to Plate is the comprehensive initiative launched by New Milford Hospital in 2007 to promote a healthy sustainable food service for the hospital, and to educate consumers about the critical importance of a sustainable food system to human health and wellbeing, the local economy and environment.
