Father-daughter team, Tony and Donna La Bella, with the help of mom, Nancy, started their first farm together in the Catskills in 2025.  They cultivated 1000 heirloom apple trees and fell in love with farming.

The La Bella’s have since moved and put down roots in Branford Connecticut where they grow 8 acres of organic vegetables, 8 acres of Christmas trees and run a thriving country store.  Throughout the spring, summer and fall, La Bella’s is overflowing with freshly picked veggies.  In the fall and winter, Christmas trees and wreaths are available - Donna makes all 300 wreathes by hand! 

The La Bella’s also have lots of exciting plans for the future.  This year they planted 200 blueberry bushes and an heirloom apple orchard.  They are also working with the local restaurant up the street and hope to continue to grow relationships with nearby restaurants.

The La Bella’s are of the philosophy that when you begin helping to grow the meals that your customers share at the table with their families, these customers become part of your family.  This is perhaps their favorite part about farming and the kind of work they do.  Tony, Nancy and Donna welcome you to come by the farm, see what they are growing and stay for a while.
