About Staehly Farms
Gail and Chris Staehly started farming together just over 20 years ago on a small Christmas tree farm. Since then, it has blossomed into a full-fledged diversified farm. They grow fruits, vegetables, annuals and perennials. They also make their own maple syrup and of course continue to grow christmas trees—13 acres of them—with thousands to choose from!
Staehly Farms is known for it’s abundant spring, summer, and fall vegetables and fruit, too! In September and October, their raspberries are sweet and ready for eating. The Staehly’s also specialize in apples and grows 28 heirloom varieties, including Winter Banana, a crisp, juicy apple with lemon yellow skin and a rosy blush that is one of Chris’ favorites.
Stop by the farm stand at Staehly’s which is open daily. You can also visits Chris and his son Kevin at the Madison farmer’s market.
