About Holcomb Farm CSA
Holcomb Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) offers weekly shares of produce for members from June-October. They grow over 200 varieties of about three dozen different vegetables, melons, herbs, berries, and flowers. Members typically receive between 6-12 items in a given week. For members who pick up at the farm in West Granby, They offer a choice of three distribution days: Tuesdays 2-6, Thursdays 3-7, and Saturdays 9-12. They also offer delivery of pre-boxed shares to a drop off point in West Hartford on Tuesdays 4-7pm.
All members are welcome to their pick-your-own crops which include strawberries, green beans, herbs, flowers, and more.
Holcomb Farm CSA has signed the NOFA Farmer's Pledge and uses a wide variety of sustainable agriculture practices. They do not use any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers on their crops.
Holcomb Farm CSA is a project of the Hartford Food System, a non-profit organization working on a variety of community food security solutions. Holcomb Farm CSA provides a number of subsidized CSA shares to low-income families in Hartford and distributes a large portion of our harvest each season to social service organizations in Hartford and Granby.
