About Maple Row Tree Farm
Offering 9 varieties of trees on 200 rustic acres of countryside in Easton, Maple Row Tree Farm is one of Fairfield County’s favorite places to find and cut the perfect Christmas tree.
Maple Row Tree Farm is owned and operated by Jim Edwards and his two sons David and Scott. The land, which has been in the Edwards family since the 1700's, was a dairy farm when Jim was growing up. After he graduated college in the late 60's with an economics degree, Jim began planting Christmas trees. Now, the tree farm is 50 years old and has grown to be one of the largest Christmas tree operations in Southern New England.
On average, a Christmas tree grows a foot a year, so it takes years and years to cultivate one. The Edwards family tends to their trees all year long, every year until they are ready to cut. With this kind of meticulous care and attention, it is no wonder Maple Row Tree Farm has some of the best looking Christmas trees in Connecticut.
At their family-friendly farm, enjoy the whole holiday experience! Take an antique tractor-driven wagon ride out to the fields, shelter yourself from the cold in warming huts stationed throughout the farm, and afterwards sip warm cocoa and visit the award-winning oxen team. To make your experience as fun and easy as possible, Maple Row Tree Farm provides saws, tree bailing and tree transports to help you get your tree from the field to your car.
Open the day after Thanksgiving, come celebrate the holidays at Maple Row Tree Farm.
