Winterbrook Farm

About Winterbrook Farm

Winterbrook Farm, in Northeastern Connecticut, is a family owned hill farm tucked away on an unpaved road. The farm dates back to the mid 1700's. Visitors are welcome to watch maple syrup being made in our Sugar House and meet baby lambs in February and March or to pick blueberries in August. Sheep graze the pastures and hay fields from April to December. Hay is cut and brought to the barn in June and August. They raise and sell lambs, sheep, Easter lambs, natural hay, blueberries, and maple syrup. They also sell wool products including yarn (hand and machine spun) for knitters, crocheting or weavers, rovings for spinners and felters (natural color and blended), fleece (grease wool and washed) for spinners. They also sell Connecticut Blankets, made from wool grown on 30 Connecticut farms, available in 7 sizes.
