Profile:

Abington Grown at We-Li-Kit Farm

Abington Grown is a no-spray draft animal-powered market garden. Growing healthy soil is how we grow healthy vegetables. We sell produce at We-Li-Kit Ice Cream, through our Summer CSA, our Winter Produce Program, the Saturday Putnam Farmers' Market and the Killingly Grange Winter Market.  Draft horses and oxen provide most of our traction and we commit to using only products approved for organic vegetable production. Cover crops and rotation are important parts of our fertility and pest management programs.

We are now accepting a limited number of 2024 CSA members. The cost is $300 for a 20 week season, with the option to purchase more produce as needed each week. Each week part of the share is chosen for you and you select the rest. Payment is due by March 31st, and the CSA starts in June when our Strawberries are ready.
