Chubby Bunny Farm is a small family farm in Northwestern Connecticut. The farm is 50 acres of tillable land, pasture and hay land. They currently use about 10 acres for sustainable vegetable production. The remaining land is used for permanent pasture, hay fields, greenhouses and barns. They believe diversity is important for the total health of the farm. To complement their wide variety of vegetables they raise laying hens, a few pigs and a small flock of sheep. Last year they also planted an apple orchard. The farm is protected by a Nature Conservancy conservation easement. This ensures that the land will remain farmland and protected from development in perpetuity.
