Welcome to Hydeville Sugar Shack, owned and operated by Rick and Amy Hartenstein.
This is a family and friend run business born from a hobby in 2024. We all take part in the sugaring process - from hanging nostalgic buckets and new lines, to collecting sap daily during season, the boiling of the sap, the packaging and the final sale to all our customers. We make maple syrup, maple cream and maple candy. If you are in Stafford Springs, CT during the peak of the sugaring season, (February through end of March) we are always in 'Open House' status...
